Online Pomodoro Timer

The Pomodoro Technique breaks work into focused blocks separated by short breaks. This free pomodoro timer runs a focus block (25 minutes by default) followed by a break (5 minutes), looping automatically and counting your completed rounds. Adjust the lengths to suit you.

How to use it

  1. Set your focus and break lengths, or keep the 25 / 5 default.
  2. Press Start and work until the focus block ends.
  3. A sound marks the switch to a break; after the break it returns to focus automatically.
  4. Press Reset to start a fresh session and clear the round counter.

Why pomodoro works

Short, time-boxed sprints reduce procrastination and mental fatigue. Knowing a break is coming makes it easier to stay focused, and the round counter gives a simple sense of progress.

FAQ

Can I change the 25/5 lengths?

Yes. Enter any focus and break length in minutes before you start.

Does it keep running in the background?

It stays accurate against your system clock, but keep the tab open so the switch sound can play.
